Being a white wine lover myself, white wine sampling was definitely on the top of my priority list. I was pleasantly surprised with the variety of white wine labels that The Wine Gallery carried – it ranges across nine different countries, including France and USA. My favourite would have to be Paul Hobbs Chardonnay Russian River from the States – it has a refreshing green apple and citrus aftertaste. Interestingly, the flavor of wine differs so greatly from country to country, with those from France having a deeper aftertaste than the ones from Australia.
Besides being a wine tasting session, eWineGallery Summer Wine Fair was also an educational campaign that educates people on the different types of wines. Guests had the chance to taste wines from eleven different countries – both old-and new worlds. Friendly staffs were also present to give advices to suit the guests’ taste preference for wines. It was without a doubt a new and informative experience!
