Well, that wouldn’t be the case anymore when Fantasia by Escribá – the world’s first confectionery theatre extravaganza, lands itself on Singapore. Created by world-renowned pastry chefs, Christian Escribá and his wife, Patricia Schmidt, this magical fantasyland brings forth an out-of-the-world experience to those who enter it.

Spanning across the size of two football fields, this pastry and sugar wonderland consists of eight themed pavilions. An eight-metres tall chocolate waterfall – Callebaut Falls, at the “Dreamland” pavilion, will leave you in awe. One will also get to see life-sized animals made completely out of chocolate, meringue and caramel at the “Nature” pavilion. It doesn’t matter if you haven’t been to La Rambla in Barcelona, because Fantasia by Escribá is bringing the entire shopping street to you in confectionery at the “La Rambla” pavilion. There, you will see boutique shops, shoes, bags and rings made entirely out of chocolate.
Besides being a magical world of chocolate, meringue and pastries, this theatre extravaganza includes performances created by Comediants – one of the world’s best theatre groups. Impressive acrobatic acts with a wide array of vibrant-coloured costumes greatly complement the confectionery fantasyland.
This wonderland will undergo a complete transformation after the sun sets – perfect for those feeling a little more adventurous. Entirely different from a ‘”wonderland of family fun”, Midnight @ Fantasia speaks of a land of dark titillation for the adults. With well-known DJs from Ibiza, sensual dance performances and cocktails mixed by the best bartenders, it will undeniably give a pleasant zest to the local party scene.
Fantasia by Escribá stimulates your every sense – hearing, sight, smell, touch and even taste. A total of twelve complimentary sweet and savoury treats worth $50, will be served throughout the entire experience. Complimentary house pours will also be included for Midnight @ Fantasia.
