DALLAS IS 10 THIS YEAR!
Dallas Restaurant & Bar, a long-time resident of Boat Quay is now in its tenth year of serving hearty meals, bar bites with modern flair and a marvelous selection of wines, beers and tipples to quench any thirst. As part of the Dallas’s 10th Anniversary celebration, the contemporary restaurant is proud to introduce its second stunning new restaurant located in the newly revamped Suntec City Sky Garden. The new exquisite glass house-style restaurant offers a 360-degree view of the Marina Boulevard area with its floor to ceiling glass windows.
We recommend ordering the Snapper Fish Tacos and the Jalapeno Croquette for starters. Each Taco consists of a chunk of fresh snapper fish deep-fried till crispy perfection. The homemade pineapple chutney and Chipotle mayonnaise was a hit with us! The combination of the acidity from the chutney and the kick of heat from the spicy mayonnaise were very enjoyable. The Jalapeno Croquettes are deep-fried delish nuggets of potatoes mixed with creamy béchamel sauce, cheddar and pickled jalapeno peppers.
Go for the big boys and order The Dallas Platter for the mains. This whopper of a platter comes in two sizes – for two or four hungry dinners. Each platter showcases four different meats: succulent grilled Australian lamb cutlets, Pork ribs (you get to choose between a berry glaze or BBQ sauce) with meat that falls right off the bones, Rotisserie chicken and juicy prime rib steak cooked medium-rare (for very obvious reasons).
Meat lovers alert!
For this Anniversary, Dallas is also serving free-flow of 100-day grain fed Australian prime rib steak for just $35++ (U.P. $40++) on the weekends. Each piece of this prime-rib is slow roasted for 15 hours and finished on the grilled for that beautiful sear just before serving.
